I’m fascinated by this “why didn’t I think of it” sort of gadget, the Third Eye. It gives you a third-person view ala a video game of your own existence, which sounds at least disorienting, if not mind-blowing. After I rig one up I’m going to walk into a tree and watch myself continue to move my arms and legs and not get anywhere just like all my friends do on World of Warcraft.

I’m still having problems with my computers and have to reformat them all into one good, working system, so this website thing will take a while to get off the ground. This is a test to see how the blog part works. This should be easy for me to update pretty frequently, or whenever the 2-year-old lets me. We’re spending time biking and swimming, in between things like picking up the grapes she just threw all over the floor. For some reason she’s getly sawing at Elmo’s neck with a plastic knife at the moment. And mashing the grapes into the rug. Gotta go.
